Marina Malković follows in the footsteps of her father Božindar Malković and wins the EuroLeague Women 30 years and one day after Limoges’ European title in the SEF.
The mighty Fenerbahce had no trouble against Mersin in the Final Four in Prague, winning the EuroLeague Women, with Brianna Stewart shining on the pitch and Marina Malkovic making a “significant” performance.
The 41-year-old coach from Serbia won a European title, 30 years and a day after her father Bozidar Malkovic, who led Limoges to the European Cup on April 15, 1993. The tough game and the low scores, 59-55 against Benetton Treviso in the final Four, hosted at SEF.
