Alpha Diallo led Guinea to the semi-finals of the pre-Olympic tournament
Alpha Diallo and Alpha Kamba played a crucial role in Guinea’s victory over Tunisia and a place in the semi-finals of the pre-Olympic tournament in Nigeria.
A triumph for Guinea that shocked African champions Tunisia by winning 95-86 to secure a place in the semi-finals of the pre-Olympic tournament in Lagos, Nigeria. There, Guinea meets Senegal (19 August, 3:00 p.m.).
A big star for the winner was Monaco’s Alfa Diallo who, although he generally didn’t score, finished the game with 19 points (2/11 two-pointers, 4/6 three-pointers, 3/5 shots ), 6 rebounds, 10 assists, 3 steals and 2 errors. Alpha Kamba was also valuable with 22 points, 8 rebounds, but also 5 errors.
