World Cup 2023. Australia and Italy start with victories
The world championship among men’s national teams began on Friday (August 25th) in Japan, Indonesia and the Philippines.
In the opening match of the tournament in Manila, he revealed the relationship between the teams of Angola and Italy. The match ended with the tough victory of the Italians – 81:67. They moved up to the leadership of Group A, which also included the winning teams of Italy, the Philippines and the Dominican Republic.
In the second match of the first match day, the Australian team beat the Finland team 98:72. The Australians took the top spot in Group E, where the teams of Japan and Germany also played.
