Lakers Announce Bronze Statue of Legendary Kobe Bryant
Los Angeles Lakers and Vanessa Bryant announce the unveiling of the bronze statue Kobe Bryant It will take place before the team’s home game on February 8, 2024, at the Star Plaza near the Crypto.com arena.
The composition is expected to be a tribute to game numbers 8 and 24, as well as featuring the basketball player’s deceased daughter, Gianna.
Five-time NBA champion Kobe Bryant died in a private helicopter crash in Calabasas, California in January 2020. Eight more people died in the accident, including her 13-year-old daughter Gianna and her family friends.
The legendary basketball player spent 20 or so seasons in the NBA playing only for the Lakers.
