Emergency 2023. Philippines and Japan undefeated, Lithuania defeats Egypt
At the start of the World Basketball Championship between men’s teams, the first matches were played by the two home teams (Philippines and Japan) and the Lithuanian team.
The Philippine team failed to defeat the Dominican Republic team. The Japanese team also lost, which upset the German team. However, the Lithuanians managed to beat the Egyptian team.
Recall, it was previously known that the match between the national teams of the Philippines and the Dominican Republic set a new historical record of spectators.
