The Serbian national team became the first semi-finalist of the 2023 World Cup
The final stage of the FIBA men’s inter-team World Championship, held in Japan, Indonesia and the Philippines, continues.
The first quarter-final match of the tournament, in which the Lithuanian and Serbian national teams faced each other, ended today, on September 5, at the Mall of Asia Arena in the Philippines. Serbian basketball players celebrated the victory with 87:68.
The most productive player of the meeting was NBA player Bogdan Bogdanovich, who scored 21 points. Tadas Sedekerskis scored 14 points and 9 rebounds for the Lithuanian national team.
In the semi-finals, the teams of Svetislav Pesic will face the winner of the Canada-Slovenia duo.
