Serbia became the first finalist of the 2023 World Cup
The Serbian national team reached the final of the 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup held in Japan, the Philippines and Indonesia.
In the semi-finals, the Serbians beat the Canadian team. The Balkan team confidently won the first quarter with a score of 23:15, and at the big break the score was already 52:39. However, in the second half of the match, the Canadians improved and started to close the gap by winning the second and third quarters. However, Serbia managed to maintain the lead and won with a score of 95:86.
Thus, the Serbian national team became the first finalist of the 2023 World Cup.
