This modern hero, who fully highlights the definition of a fellow human being with his actions, is Stathis Kotretsos, a resident of Lavrio.

And not only that. Before dedicating his life to the Greek Army, he was a member of the infrastructure departments of the Lavrio Gymnastic Association as a permanent member of the Armed Forces!

He played basketball at the academies of Lavrio and of course every member of the GS Lavrio family is proud of his own “child” who moved all of Greece and highlighted his own example.”
