Maroussi is strengthening his squad before the new season in the Basket League and is bringing Ahmed Hill (27 years old, 1.96 meters) to the guards

Maroussi announced the acquisition of Ahmed Hill and strengthened his perimeter with the American guard (27 years old, 1.96 meters).

Hill played in Germany and Bayreuth last season while finishing the year in Canada with the Montreal Alliance.

Maroussi continues his transfer moves ahead of the new Basket League season and has announced Haris Yiannopoulos, Miroslav Radulitsa, Stefan Peno, Isaiah Osborne, Alexandros Nikolaidis and Christos Iordanos.

WHO IS

Hill was born on March 21, 1996 in Augusta, Georgia (27 years old), is 1.96 tall and plays shooting guard. In 2019, he graduated from Virginia Tech University (Hokies), where he has played since 2014, with averages of 10.99 points (39% from three), 3.45 rebounds and 1.25 assists. In the 2019-20 season he played in the G-League for the Northern Arizona Suns (affiliate of the Pistons), in 2021 he moved to the Greensboro Swarm (affiliate of the Hornets) and continued his career with the Canadian Guelph Nighthawks. He crossed the Atlantic for Polish Random for the first time in the 2021-22 season. In 2022 he returned to Canada to the Guelph Nighthawks from Ontario and wore the jersey of the German Bayreuth team in the 2022/23 season. His best appearance in the Bundesliga was on April 23, 2023 against the Skyliners Frankfurt, where he scored 37 points and 8 three-pointers. Last April he signed with the Montreal Alliance and on July 28, he became the first Canadian League (CEBL) player to reach 1,000 career points.
