Kiev-Basket signs Major League’s best defenseman
Ukrainian playmaker Igor Starodub – New player of “Kyiv-Basket”. Kiev club officially announced the transfer of the 26-year-old defender.
Last season, Starodub played for the SSU Major League team and was recognized as the best defender in the tournament.
Starodub finished the season ranked third in the Major League in scoring and fifth in assists. The defender entered the top 10 in efficiency rankings.
Starodub averaged 22.8 points, 5.0 rebounds and 5.3 assists in 24 Major League games played.
