Officially. BC Cherkasy Mavpy changed the name of the team
The long-term representative of the Super League, BC “Cherkasy Mavpy”, changed its name. The full name of the club is now “Cherkassy Mavpy-Dnepr”.
“We are proud of this new page in the history of our club and believe that it will bring more opportunities and open new horizons for our players and fans. We are confident that this new phase in our history will help us reach new heights and bring joy to our fans.
“Cherkasy Mavpy-Dnepr” is not just a name. It is a symbol of unity, strength and forward movement. Together we move upwards towards new victories and achievements,” the club said.
The new season in the Basketball Super League starts on October 3. “Cherkasy Mavpy-Dnepr” will play its first match of the season against Lviv “Polytechnic-Galicia” on the same day, starting from 16:00 Kiev time.
