The format of the season in the Major League has been announced

The format of the Ukrainian Basketball Championship in the Higher Men’s League has been announced. 12 teams will participate in the season.

Among the teams that played in the Major League last season were “Sambir”, “Sumy region team – BC SumSU”, “Lviv Polytechnic”, “Niko-Basket”, “Polytechnic” Kharkov, “Self Made” Kiev and BC. “Kmelnitsky”.

After missing the Ukrainian Championship for a year, former Super League participants Prometheus and Kharkiv Falcons are returning.

The teams “DiDiBao” Kamenets-Podolsky, “Push Team-NUFVSU” Kiev and “Push Team” Kropyvnytskyi were accepted to the Major League participant list.

Teams will play in three rounds. The best 8 teams will be determined according to the results of the regular season. These clubs will advance to the Major League Final Eight. The decisive stage of the competition will be held in one city at the end of April over three days (1/4, 1/2 and the final). The Playoff series will consist of a single match.

Let us also remind that the winner of the Major League last season was BC “Rivne”, and they will compete in the Super League this season together with the vice champion of the season “Kryvbas”.
