A big trade in the NBA. Damian Lillard will transfer to Milwaukee
33-year-old American defender Damian Lillard He will be traded from the Portland Trail Blazers to the Milwaukee Bucks.
In the triple trade, Lillard will combine his talents with Giannis Antetokounmpo.
Phoenix Suns also took part in the trade that will acquire Jusuf Nurkic, Grayson Allen, Nassir Little and Keon Johnson. Portland will receive Drew Holiday, Deandre Ayton, Toumani Kamara, Milwaukee’s unprotected 2029 first-round pick and a pick swap with the Bucks in 2028 and 2030.
Lillard played in 58 regular season games last season and averaged 32.2 points, 4.8 rebounds and 7.3 assists per game.
Lillard is heading to Milwaukee as part of a 3-team deal that includes Jrue Holiday, Deandre Ayton, unprotected MIL 1st pick Toumani Camara in 2029, and unprotected MIL trade rights in 2028 and 2030 to the Blazers.
