Mitoglou loses the Super Cup and the Premier Derby in the EuroLeague with Olympiakos Piraeus
Dinos Mitoglou’s problem is serious as he will miss both the Rhodes Super Cup and the derby with Olympiacos in the EuroLeague premiere (6/10).
Panathinaikos suffered a major blow as the diagnosis for Dinos Mitoglou’s injury was a second degree contusion to the left gastrocnemius.
The tall Greek will also miss the Rhodes Super Cup (September 29-30) and the inaugural EuroLeague derby against Olympiakos (October 6), with the Greens saying he will begin treatment immediately. The biggest thing, of course, is that his absence will not be limited to a week, but could possibly even last three weeks.
This means that Ergin Ataman will be asked to readjust his plans for the rotation of Klees’ upcoming games.
Apart from tomorrow’s semi-final against PAOK (September 29th, 8:30 p.m.), as everything shows, Ioannis Papapetrou, who is struggling with knee problems, is also out.
