Forward and captain of Runa Artem Komissarov shared his emotions after returning to the VTB United League with a new club.
In his career, the 32-year-old basketball player played in the United League for Red October, Zenit and Enisey.
— How important is it for me to return to the VTB United League? Sometimes it’s worth taking a step back so you can take two steps forward. This is a new challenge for me. Two years later, to reach the level of the United League again and show what you have left and what you are capable of… I proudly accept this challenge, and the season will show everything,” Komissarov told Metaratings.ru.
In the first match of the debut season in the VTB United League, Runa will play with Avtodor Saratov. The meeting will take place on October 1 and will begin at 16:00 (Moscow time).
