Today the Ukrainian basketball club “Prometheus” starts its European Cup season with a match against the German “Hamburg”. The match will be played in Riga on Wednesday, October 4, and will start at 19.00 Kiev time.
Last season Prometheus reached the semi-finals of the European Cup, but this year the competition has become even tougher. This season’s European Cup features twenty teams divided into two groups, with only the top six teams from each group qualifying for the knockout stages.
The first opponent of “Prometheus” is the German “Hamburg”, a young team.
