Sfeiropoulos for Ioannidis: “A great teacher, alongside whom I had the good fortune and honor to serve”
With his post on Twitter, Yiannis Sfeiropoulos expressed his condolences to his relatives and expressed the happiness that he was with them and was born at his side.
Giannis Ioannidis is no longer with us and he spread sadness throughout Greek basketball and beyond. Yiannis Sfeiropoulos had worked with him on the national team and said goodbye to him with his post on Twitter.
The 56-year-old technician expressed his condolences to Xantho’s relatives, but also expressed the honor and happiness that he was able to have by his side.
“A legend of Greek basketball, a fighter on the European courts, a great teacher, has left us. I was fortunate and honored to serve alongside him on the national team. Heartfelt condolences to his family. I wish you a nice journey by bus…“said Yannis Sfeiropoulos, among others, in his contribution.
