The EuroLeague standings after the OAKA derby for matchday 1
At 1-0 Olympiakos Piraeus, at 0-1 Panathinaikos Piraeus after the OAKA derby of eternity on the first matchday of the EuroLeague.
Olympiacos opened the 2023/24 season in impressive fashion, defeating OAKA after 45 minutes to take the EuroLeague marathon 1-0 before welcoming Barcelona to the Peace and Friendship Stadium on matchday two.
The tournament started with big games, with Red Star, with Maccabi Tel Aviv, with comfortable victories from Barcelona, but also with Valencia, which beat Monaco, while Zalgiris Kaunas got past the headquarters of Virtus Bologna. EuroLeague debut for Nikos Rogavopoulos, with Bascona beaten at home by European champions Real Madrid.
