Europa League. Real beat Turkish champion, beat Baskonia Alba
Today, October 12, the second round of the regular season of Europe’s most prestigious club basketball tournament took place. Four matches were played on the first day of the Euroleague.
In the main match of the day, Real Madrid defeated Turkish champion Anadolu Efes away. The reigning Euroleague champions earned a convincing victory, taking the lead at the start of the match and never allowing the Turks to take the lead. Moreover, Los Blancos did not give up even a quarter to their opponents.
Another representative of Spain, Baskonia, defeated Berlin’s Alba. Playing on home soil, the Germans were behind for most of the match, but thanks to their successful late-game breakthrough, they managed to reduce the gap to two points, but the Spaniards still managed to prevail.
While Serbian Partizan defeated French ASVEL in both matches, BC Panathinaikos won at home in the match against Bayern Munich.
