Sloukas is fighting for Panathinaikos’ game against Maccabi

Apart from the game against Fenerbahce (17/10), as everything shows, Kostas Slukas will stay and aim for the game against Maccabi Tel Aviv (20/10), as Christos Serelis explained.

Due to the slight bruise in his left lower leg muscle, Kostas Sluka was not in the squad for the game against Bayern Munich on matchday 2 of the EuroLeague. The Greek guard will not play in the away game at Peristeri Bwin on Saturday (October 14th, 8:15 p.m.) and since everything seems to be on his mind, the game against Maccabi Tel Aviv (October 20th, 9:15 p.m.) at OAKA, for 4th matchday of the EuroLeague.

As Christos Serelis explained on Novasports channels, Slukas has started treatment, he will probably miss the away game against Fenerbahce (10/17, 8:15 p.m.) and if everything goes well, he will return to the game against the Israelis, what not the case had been postponed. We remind you that Panathinaikos has another derby ahead with Olympiakos Piraeus, which will take place on October 29th or 30th at the Peace and Friendship Stadium.

Jokic may lose his chance to compete for NBA MVP award

Denver Nuggets announced Nikola Jokic He will miss at least four weeks due to left knee hyperextension.

The Serb is expected to miss all 18 matches in January and his maximum appearances this season could be limited to 64 matches. So Jokic will lose the opportunity to compete for the NBA’s main prizes – MVP and inclusion in the All-NBA, as this requires playing at least 65 games in the regular season.

Theoretically, he could return for the January 31 game against the Brooklyn Nets, which would give Nikola the opportunity to play 65 games before the end of the season, but that scenario is unlikely.

Jokic was injured in the last seconds of the first half of the match against Miami Heat (123:147) and did not return to the field after a long break. Before his injury, he managed to score 21 points, 8 assists and 5 rebounds in just 19 minutes.

Jokic averaged 29.9 points, 12.4 rebounds and 11.1 assists per game this season.
