With a counterattack in the second half, Aris Karditsa defeated “Nick Galis Hall” 69:61 and continued his competitive games in the Basket League with the impressive Vassilis Toliopoulos as the leader.

Aris, led by Vassilis Toliopoulos, countered in the second half and defeated Karditsa 69-61 at Nick Galis Hall.

The Greek guard scored 22 points (3/7 two-pointers, 4/8 three-pointers) and was a catalyst for his team’s dominance. The Thessalians went into the break with +10 (29-39), but the yellows improved significantly in the second half and turned the situation around.

On the following match day, Aris hosts AEK (October 29th, 5:15 p.m.), while Karditsa faces the Scarafiga team against Marousi (October 28th, 7:00 p.m.).


The race

After an even first quarter with a low tempo and low score, Kardisa increased the tempo in the second third when Aris had not yet found his feet.
