Milutinov passed Tarpley to become Olympiakos’ second foreigner in defensive rebounds in the Basket League
Nikola Milutinov achieved an important individual success in Olympiacos’ game in Rhodes against its rival Kolossos, when the Serbian center overtook Tarpley on the list of Olympiacos’ best defensive rebounders and became the second foreigner on the corresponding list behind De Miguel.
Olympiacos overtook Rhodes with a 102-59 win over Kolossos, with Nikola Milutinov scoring a key individual performance.
As ESAKE announced, with the four defensive rebounds collected, the big Serbian reached 341, overtaking Roy Tarpley and becoming the second foreigner on the relevant list behind De Miguel.
In the overall list of Olympiakos’ best defensive rebounders in the years of the professional championship, Milutinov took 15th place.
At the same time, Giorgos Bartzokas became the fourth coach alongside Yiannis Sfeiropoulos to play 100 regular season games on the red and white bench. Only Giannis Ioannidis and Dusan Ivkovic are ahead of him.
