The unstoppable Prometheus took 90 points from four players in defeating Amarousios
Cowan, Hale, Reynolds and Etsenike scored 90 points as Prometheus defeated Maroussi, 111-92, to move into the Basket League at 3/3.
3/3 in the Basket League was made by Prometheus, who prevailed against Amarousiou (111-92) in Tofalos on Monday afternoon (October 23rd).
With Cam Reynolds doing great work with his outside shooting and Anthony Cowan, Hunter Hale and Jaime Etzenike having breakouts, the Patras team picked up their second win in as many home games. 90 of their 111 points came from these four!
Prometheus had ten assists for its nine baskets (!) in the first period, in which Maroussi scored a final pass for six turnovers. At halftime (49:42) both teams had 17 baskets each, but the guests had thrown 28 two-pointers and two three-pointers, with the hosts having more balance.
Maroussi, for his part, fell to 0-3 (0-1 at home and 0-2 away), with Giorgos Scarafigas seeing the plurality and seeing a good picture of his team simply having to admit defeat against a superior opponent with more talent.
