Second victory in the Eurocup. Prometheus defeated Cedevita Olympia

On Wednesday, October 25, Ukrainian “Prometheus” and Slovenian “Cedevita Olimpia” met in the basketball Eurocup match. The match was played at Stozice Arena (Ljubljana, Slovenia).

The beginning of the fight was an even fight. The players of the Ukrainian team were the first to score; Lipova hit a three-pointer. The visiting team led the scoring for two minutes. But then Cedevita Olimpia players began to gain points steadily. As a result, the home team won the first quarter with a very comfortable advantage of 26:18. At the beginning of the second quarter, the Slovenian team also performed better than the Ukrainian team. After two minutes of play, the home team’s advantage reached 10 points – 30:20. From that moment on, Prometheus’ breakthrough began. The Ukrainian team entered the halftime ahead by winning the second quarter by 10 points.

Prometheus played the third period of the game confidently and effectively. The team won this ten-minute period with a more modest 5-point advantage. At the beginning of the fourth quarter, Cedevita Olimpia managed to reduce the difference to two points. After that, the “giants” regained the lead and finally celebrated victory.

“Prometheus” won two victories and suffered two defeats in the Eurocup this year. Cedevita Olimpia has not won yet.
