The ABA League’s sporting director confirmed Dubai’s interest in joining the league
Dubai is in talks to take part in the ABA League championship, the league’s sporting director Milija Voginovic has confirmed.
The question of a team from Dubai entering the EuroLeague came back into focus after the shareholders’ meeting on Tuesday (October 24th) in Istanbul and the publication of encestando, which spoke of discussions about taking over the technical leadership with Svetislav Pesic Foreground also for the intention to take part in the ABA League.
It turns out that the intention in question is 100% true, as it was confirmed by the same sports director of the league, Milija Voginovic, speaking to Mozzart Sport.
“Dubai has a desire to play in the ABA League. We have already spoken, we have agreed on some things. We’ll keep talking.”he pointed out significantly.
