Bacon: “In Europe you never tell the whole story”
Dwayne Bacon, in his social media post, referenced the years he spent fighting in Europe and expressed his complaint that the full story is never told on the Old Continent.
Dwayne Bacon wanted to position himself for the years he fought in Europe and did so through a post on social media.
With a small text in an Instagram story, Bacon expressed, among other things, his complaint that in Europe the whole story is never told, only what they think people want to hear.
We remind you that the last stop of his career was Maccabi Ranana, where he played with them in friendly matches with NBA teams.
What Bacon wrote in detail:
“The last few years in the league I was in Orlando and had double-digit averages. We replaced the entire team after Kell was injured. In my first year in the EuroLeague, we reached the playoffs with Monaco, the team’s first season in the EuroLeague, and I averaged 15 points. At Panathinaikos I had almost 17 points, while the average in the Euroleague is around 17.
In the NBA preseason this year I had 19 points. You open your mouth, but wherever I go in my career, I perform, every year I get better. The VIDEOS exist and in these four years I haven’t lost a single game. I got bad comments all the time, but be serious. While I didn’t have a public problem in the NBA, I did in the Euroleague. But in Europe they never tell the whole story, just what they think people need to hear because they don’t want someone else to take you if you’re as productive as I am.
The crazy thing is that they want me today, so everything I say shows everything about how I work, how I play, how I really am. I never said I was perfect, but I always kept my image clean and worked for everything that came my way.
