Dream night for Lessor: career highs in points and rebounds
Matias Lessor scored a career high in both categories with 23 points and 14 rebounds in Panathinaikos’ game against Baskonia.
Matias Lessor put in an incredible performance against Baskonia, effectively leading Panathinaikos to victory with Mitoglou, 95-81. The French center had 23 points and 14 rebounds, 7 on offense and 7 on defense.
Lessor set career highs in both points and rebounds. In doing so, he surpassed the previous record of 22 points from Partizan’s game against Valencia in December 2022, while until Friday (October 27), the most “garbage” he had collected in a game was 12, on October 14, 2022 Partizan’s jersey and again against Baskonia.
Of course, as the green KAE announced at the end of the game, the French center was named MVP of the Panathinaikos game.
