Apollonas Patras is looking for a coach as Nikos Vetoulas has announced his departure from the historic team.
Nikos Vetoulas announced his resignation from the technical leadership of Apollon Patras in a written statement, a day after the heavy home defeat against Kolossos Rhodes in the 4th game of the Stoiximan Basket League.
“Short-term memory. Seeing the image of our team that is not what I dreamed of, I am leaving the team for this reason and for reasons that cannot be analyzed here. I take ALL the responsibility and not my fair share. Words are unnecessary for those who have tried to take advantage of one of my difficult personal situations, quickly forgetting the progress our team has made over the past few years. I’m sure Apollo’s unique world will keep the team in the Basket League. Apollo in the simple, Apollonara in the difficult” Vetoula’s statement says.
After four games, Apollo has a record of 1-3 (1-2 home and 0-1 away).
