The former player of the junior national team returned to Ukraine from abroad in full force
Rivne club announced that it signed a contract with 18-year-old Rivne basketball graduate Alexander Ponosov. Young had previously played in Austria and the Netherlands.
Ponosov spent the 2022/2023 season in Austria, where he played for second division club Vienna United. The Ukrainian player averaged 12.9 points, 3.2 assists and 3.2 rebounds in 19 games. Alexander started this season at Dutch second division club Cimbria, averaging 24.7 points per game.
In the summer of 2022, Alexander Ponosov played for the Ukrainian youth team in the EuroBasket. He averaged 12.4 points, 3.3 rebounds and 3.9 assists in the seven games he played.
