Ukraine U-16 team started the EYBL stage in Estonia with two wins
The Ukrainian U-16 national team, led by coach Ilya Shemosyuk, started its performance at the European Youth Basketball League stage, which continues in Tartu, Estonia, between 3-5 November.
After preparations in Rivne, the team went to the tournament, where it planned to play five matches.
In the first match played against the Swedish team Blackberg Basket, our athletes achieved a convincing victory with a score of 65:54.
In the second match, the Ukrainian team beat the Finnish team Turku Basket 65:60.
On November 4, the Ukrainian national team will face Estonia’s “Tarta Unikol” and Finland’s “PuHa Junior” teams, and the basketball players will complete their performances in the match against the Georgian national team on November 5.
