Aris cruised victoriously through Rhodes while Bankston had an orgy in the first part
Aris won a double on Rhodes, winning 88-78 against Kolossos. Chris Bankston was impressive, scoring 20 points in the first half of the game and helping Yannis Kastritis’ side to a satisfying lead.
With Chris Bankston doing things and wonders in the first half of the game, Aris laid the foundation and emerged victorious from Rhodes, winning 88-78 against Kolossos. Yiannis Kastritis’ team rose to 4-1 after five rounds in the Stoiximan Basket League, while Kouros Segouras’ team fell to 2-3.
The 24-year-old big man from Aris scored 21 points – including 20 in the first half – on 8/10 two-pointers, 5/8 shooting, he also had 6 rebounds, 1 assist and 2 fouls in the participation and was the leading scorer of the Winner. Close behind was Roberto Gallinat, who finished the game with 19 points (4/6 three-pointers). Full performance from Lefteris Bohorides with 11 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists.
On the Colossus side, Andrew Goudlock was excellent on his debut, scoring 22 points (6/10 2-pointers, 2/2 3-pointers, 4/5 shots), but that wasn’t enough for the Rhodesians.
