Split fans’ warm applause for Zelimir Obradovic became a topic in the Serbian media.
The games of the Serbian teams on Croatian soil do not take place in… a friendly atmosphere. However, on Sunday (May 11th), the Split audience uniquely idolized a Serb, which is why the event was “played out” as news on many Serbian websites.
Partizan traveled to the Croatian city for matchday 6 of the ABA League. The audience of Split, the former Jugoplastica, gave Zelimir Obradovic a wonderful standing ovation. Zots was an opponent of the legendary team of Toni Kukoc – Dino Raja. He always speaks with respect about the club and its two courts, where he fought some of the biggest battles of his basketball career. As a reminder, Partizan won 76-53.
