Panathinaikos ran with 112 against – without TJ Starks – Apollon. Juancho Hernangometh recorded a double-double, Dimitris Moraitis made 5/5 threes. Positive presence from everyone and extensive rotation from Ergin Ataman.

A performance for a reel was the one we saw on Monday night (6/11) at OAKA, as Panathinaikos completely dominated Apollon Patras, prevailing an impressive 112-60, making it five wins in as many Stoiximan Basket League games.

The game does not stand up to criticism as the difference in capacity between the two teams is quite large while the Patrinos played with their official coaches Jamako – Derao while they were without the team’s leading scorer, TJ Starks.

This gave Ergin Ataman the opportunity not to use Matias Lessor at all, but also to give Juancho Hernangomet – Aleksandar Balcherovski enough minutes to find their rhythm.

The Spanish forward finished the game with 13 points and 11 rebounds in 20’28”, while the big Polish player narrowly missed a double-double with 13 points and 9 rebounds. Dimitris was also outstanding. Moraitis, who had 16 points with 5/5 threes and 5 assists in 21’33” on the field.
