Bruno Campoclo is officially a Partizan player, but Venezia has no plans to lay down arms and take the case to court.

Venezia have issued a statement in which they made it clear that they will fight by all legal means to obtain justice in the case of Bruno Campoclo, who signed with the Italian club in the summer, never showed up for the team’s commitments and now this one belongs to partisan.

Venezia points out the unfair and wrong decision of the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) to grant the license to the player Bruno Campoclo at the request of Partizan.

The granting of the above-mentioned authorization on the basis of a very serious offense committed by the athlete in obvious bad faith and with the culpable collaboration of his agent and the new club is completely unacceptable and will be challenged by Venezia in all fora and by all available means, beginning with the appeal to the FIBA Appeals Committee.

In a functional and interdependent system such as that of European basketball, a club exploiting the performance of a player contracted to a potential opponent will not be tolerated.

And the strange face of players and agents who are indifferent not only to contracts, but also to sports programs, investments and the competitiveness of teams will not be tolerated.

For this reason, Venice is absolutely determined to continue the litigation against all those involved in this matter and in all possible jurisdictions.

Because it is unfortunately clear that respect for the codes of conduct approved by FIBA itself and the core sporting values that must be shared by all cannot be left to the individual conscience of those who work in our sport in any capacity. ” the Italian club stated in its statement.
