Ataman: “I would like to thank the people who were by our side. I hope we can have two sold out concerts at the OAKA next week.”
Ergin Ataman spoke about the origins of Panathinaikos’ away win in Berlin, who did not accept any questions and confused Alba with Bayern.
Ergin Ataman was pleased with the way Panathinaikos played against Alba, which he confused with Bayern in the flow, and with the victory the Greens had achieved ahead of the upcoming EuroLeague week.
“We started the game very well offensively. In the first half we had good ball movement, we found free throws and implemented them. That was very important. We also found some pick-and-roll situations with Balcerovski. Vildosa scored 4.” Three points and we gained a clear lead in the first part.
Bayern (by ss. obviously meant Alba, but got confused) never gave up and put pressure on us by changing their defense in the second half. He used a zone and that caused us some problems, but eventually we found a way to score again. We shot a total of 13 three-pointers. It’s an important win for us before Devil’s Week, where we will play two home games. said the Turkish coach in the press room of the Mercedes-Benz Arena without answering questions.

“We achieved a great victory. We managed to control the pace and stay cool. Alba is a team that doesn’t give up and that showed tonight. But we did our job. I would like to thank the people who were by our side and helped us tonight. The people who came from everywhere. Both from Greece and France. I hope we will have two sold out concerts at OAKA next week,” he mentioned it previously in the EuroLeague Flash interview.
