PAOK overtook Patras with a 67-54 win over Apollon, with Justin Alston having a terrible day, securing the Thessaloniki team’s victory on his debut with the black and whites.

A victorious pass from Patras for PAOK, with Fotis Takianou’s team defeating Apollo (67-54) with Justin Alston as the star in his debut with the Thessaloniki team.

The American center achieved a double-double with 19 points and 14 rebounds in his first appearance with his new team and led the black and whites to victory.

PAOK improved to 3-3, Apollos remains with a positive result after six games.


Kendall Smith also made his debut for the black and whites of PAOK with a good performance (10 points, 4 assists), while Kostas Delegos was on the bench for Apollon in the top division for the first time.


The race

The first part in Patras between Apollon and PAOK did not bring good laurels as both teams were particularly misguided and Fotis Takianos’ team always had the upper hand and was in the lead.
