The emotions of Stamati’s “farewell” to the women’s national team and the jerseys with the message for Fasoula in the game against the Czech Republic
EEC released a beautiful VIDEO with what happened before, during and after the women’s national team’s game with the Czech Republic for EuroBasket 2025 qualification, with Stamati’s emotions in her last game with the Blue and Whites and everyone’s message to Fasoula to stand out.
The women’s national team defeated the Czech Republic 77-66 in the second game of qualifying for EuroBasket 2025 (where Greece qualified as co-host). Two days later, EEC released a beautiful VIDEO of what happened on and off the field.
The message on the international jerseys about the team’s great misfortune, Mariella Fasoula (torn cruciate ligament) before the game, some phases and – of course – the emotion of everyone when Evina Stamati left the pitch – stood out in her last appearance with the blue and white then for 21 years.
