Napier broke his nose and will miss Red Star’s game against Olympiakos, while Dos Santos has a hand problem
Sambaz Napier has left Red Star’s clash with Fenerbahce injured as the Yannis Sfairopoulos player sustained a broken nose and will miss the upcoming game against Olympiakos. Jago dos Santos has a hand problem.
Sambaz Napier was unlucky in Red Star’s game against Fenerbahce as Yannis Sfairopoulos’ player left the game with a broken nose. Hand problem for Yago dos Santos, who also left injured and did not play in the game.
Napier is unlikely to play in the upcoming game against Olympiakos (11/16, 9:15 p.m., Novasports 4, Sportish Match Center) because, as his coach announced after the game, he will be out for a while.
Red and White Belgrade coach Yannis Sfeiropoulos spoke at the press conference where he gave a clearer picture of the team’s injury problems, with the Greek coach stating: “Shabazz broke his nose and will be out for a while. The good thing is that he doesn’t need surgery, we’ll know that in the next few days. Yago twisted his wrist, he is at the doctors, we are not. “I know if he will play in the next game. He’s not feeling too bad, but we don’t know exactly what caused the injury. Branko Lazic will be out for a long time. Adam Hanga is better, but not ready to play yet.”
