The president of Aris was asked to apologize for his comments on the arbitration process
The president of AS Aris, Lefteris Arvanitis, was ordered to apologize by the judge of the EEC Ethics Committee for making statements about “attempted influence on the referees” in relation to the yellow-blacks’ games against PAOK and Prometheus.
The judge of the Ethics Committee of the EEC demanded an apology from the president of AS Aris, Lefteris Arvanitis, for defaming the sport in view of some statements he made to a radio station about the refereeing of the upcoming matches of the team of Giannis Castritis in the Stoiximan Basketball League.
This is a call from the institutionalized ethics committee, which exists in all associations and which makes calls “automatically” in such cases. In this case, Mr. Arvanitis should apologize for what he said “Attempt to influence the arbitration proceedings” before Aris’ games against PAOK (11/18, 20:15) and with Promethea Patras (11/25, 5:15 p.m.).
