A Keenan Evans basket bowed Bayern, Zalgiris put Bayern on the canvas (74-73) and sent Serge Ibaka’s great performance into the trash.

On Friday evening (November 17th) there was a tug of war in Kaunas in which Zalgiris and Bayern fought like wildfire for the ninth round of the EuroLeague, but the referees only sentenced both teams to 23 fouls.

In the final, the home team smiled, winning with a basket from 9 inches by Keenan Evans (74-73) and moving to 4-5 (2-2 at home and 2-3 away). Rolands Schmitz scored 14 of his 16 points in the first half, with 4/6 three-pointers, Tomas Dimsa and Evans-Lekavitsous took over in the second half and Zalgiris triumphed.

Bayern fell to 3:6 (2:1 at home and 1:5 away), with Serge Ibaka doing wonders (20 points, 7 rebounds, 2 blocks) but ultimately leaving the Zalgirio Arena disappointed. Bolmaro and Wyler-Bubb had the chance to score a brace, but missed it with the time remaining for the final attack.
