Daniel Theis targets Clippers

The Los Angeles Clippers are in a tough spot, and the solution may be to strengthen their inside game. That candidate is Daniel Theis, who is already in talks to leave the Indiana Pacers to supplement the California native.

The Clippers are unable to rely on Mason Plumlee (knee sprain), so only Zubac played as an internal reference. The team has already lost six consecutive games since acquiring James Harden, and the team has a lot of issues to solve.

Schiess will sign a pro-rated veteran’s minimum contract of $2.1 million. The German player, who won a world championship with his national team last summer, did not appear for the Pacers as he has only played in one game this season. Theis averaged 7.5 points and 4.9 rebounds in seven seasons with the Boston Celtics (2017-21, 2022), Chicago Bulls (2021), Houston Rockets (2021-22) and Pacers.
