Jonas Wohlfarth-Bottermann lost one of his contact lenses during Hamburg’s Bundesliga game against Bamberg and had to go to his car to get a replacement pair.
Jonas Wohlfarth-Bottermann, a member of the German national team that won the bronze medal at EuroBasket 2022, became the star of a crazy scene. During a Bundesliga game between Hamburg, where he belongs, and Bamberg, the 33-year-old big man had to change his shoes and go into the stadium parking lot to go to his car.
The reason; A lost contact lens. During the game, Boaterman lost one of his contact lenses. He couldn’t find the spare pair he thought he had in his suitcase and was forced to go to his car and find an extra pair.
As a reminder, the German international returned about five minutes into the game, where he scored a total of 10 points and 4 rebounds as his team won 94-90 and improved their record to 5-3.
