New sponsorship contract and renaming to Panathinaikos AKTOR

KAE Panathinaikos has announced a new sponsorship deal regarding the club’s name, which will be changed to Panathinaikos AKTOR.

In a press conference on Tuesday (November 21st) at 12 p.m., the start of the cooperation between the two teams was presented in the presence of the team’s coach, Ergin Ataman.

The announcement in detail:

“As of today, AKTOR is the title sponsor of the Panathinaikos basketball team, which will now be called PANATHINAIKOS AKTOR (PANATHINAIKOS). ACTOR ATHENS), as announced in a joint press conference held at OAKA on Tuesday (November 21) at 12 p.m.

The Vice President of the Board of Directors was present at the press conference. of AKTOR, Loukas Karalis, the general director of communications of AKTOR, Giorgos Tsaprounis, the president of KAE Panathinaikos AKTOR, Vassilis Parthenopoulos and the team’s coach, Ergin Ataman.

The Vice President of the Board of Directors of AKTOR, Loukas Karalis stated: “It is a great pleasure for us that from today the renewed AKTOR brand will accompany the name Panathinaikos. It is an action that demonstrates our desire to advance our group and help Greece take dynamic steps into the future. We hope that the AKTOR logo on the team’s jerseys will bring good luck to the team in Greece and Europe.”

The President of KAE Panathinaikos AKTOR, Vasily Parthenopoulos remarked: “I would like to thank you very much for your presence at today’s press conference where we present to you the appointment of our team.” AKTOR, the construction company with a portfolio of iconic projects in Greece and abroad, and Panathinaikos, one of the biggest brand names in European basketball, start a great collaboration that combines their name, their history and the consistency on the path to success.
