McKissick: “Celia Kritharioti reminded me of the mamba mentality of Spanoulis and Kobe, I almost vomited from fear of Beryl’s catwalk”
Shaquille McKissic admired his beloved Beryl on the MadWalk runway and compared designer Celia Krithariotis to the mamba mentality of Spanoulis and Kobe.
At this year’s MadWalk Awards, Olympiacos Basketball made a strong presence. Thomas Walkup and his partner Estrella Nuri with him Shaquille McKissick admired Beryl’s catwalk, who turned heads in pink.
Shaquille McKissic didn’t ignore yesterday’s experience and published a detailed description of what he experienced alongside his wife on her catwalk yesterday. Among other things, he compared the designer who dressed Beryl to him Spanoulis and Kobe’s Mamba mentality.
“Last week. I saw some of the top designers, models and creators who would be participating in the MadWalk. Special thanks to Sasha Stamatis for making this all possible.”
When my wife and I first met five years ago, she expressed a desire to one day walk the runway. I understood the meaning of this dream for her. Although we rarely spoke about it over the years, it was a goal I never forgot that he wanted to achieve. Being a wife and mother, especially the wife and mother of a basketball player, has its challenges. She had to move from country to country, give birth away from her family, endure the complications of pregnancy, and sacrifice a “normal life” all while chasing her own dreams. My wife is really great
I doubt there was anyone prouder than me at Mad Walk. This was her own achievement, something she had to accomplish alone. Unlike on the basketball court, where I feel like I’m in control and able to influence the outcome of the game, this event was a different scenario. I couldn’t influence the outcome or protect my wife from possible failure or criticism. The nervousness I felt while waiting for her to walk the runway was unlike anything I had ever experienced before. I was so excited before the show started that I almost threw up several times.
Even though she was dressed by one of Greece’s leading designers, Selia Kritharioti, my nerves were still frayed. Ms. Kritharioti is excellent. It was a privilege to get to know her along with her sister Lenia, Anna Maria and everyone else involved. The greatness of Ms. Krithariotis is intense, genius, admirable, powerful and simply put: beautiful. I swear he reminded me so much of the “mom attitude” of Vassilis Spanoulis or Kobe Bryant, but in the world of fashion
This was the first time in my marriage that I saw my wife completely scared. Me too haha. Beryl was afraid because she realized the magnitude of this opportunity. The dedication and commitment of all employees in Celia’s environment also deserve recognition. The designers and their assistants all strive to be the best, and as a basketball player, I completely agree with this motivation.
It was surreal watching my wife try on a hundred pink dresses. Every time she approached Celia, the room became silent, I leaned towards her from across the room and we all waited for the judgment of this powerful woman (…) It felt like a movie.
I am fortunate to witness the genius, wit and ability to charm oneself every day. As a woman who goes her own way and wants to shine on her own terms, she is often confronted with stereotypical expectations. She has a voice, she respects everyone equally and although she is Turkish, lives in Greece and deals with sensitive topics, she moves through this media landscape with elegance, grace, humility and a deep love for Greece and its culture
She’s a caring mother, a woman with high expectations, and now a MadWalk model, and honestly, she’ll be anything she wants to be. And as for me, I’m here for it, I’m here for anything! By the way, as a person who is interested in art, this show was a perfect 10/10 for me and the production team was absolutely amazing! Oh, and I met Kostas Fragolias from Happy Day. We had a good conversation.”

Jokic may lose his chance to compete for NBA MVP award
Denver Nuggets announced Nikola Jokic He will miss at least four weeks due to left knee hyperextension.
The Serb is expected to miss all 18 matches in January and his maximum appearances this season could be limited to 64 matches. So Jokic will lose the opportunity to compete for the NBA’s main prizes – MVP and inclusion in the All-NBA, as this requires playing at least 65 games in the regular season.
Theoretically, he could return for the January 31 game against the Brooklyn Nets, which would give Nikola the opportunity to play 65 games before the end of the season, but that scenario is unlikely.
Jokic was injured in the last seconds of the first half of the match against Miami Heat (123:147) and did not return to the field after a long break. Before his injury, he managed to score 21 points, 8 assists and 5 rebounds in just 19 minutes.
Jokic averaged 29.9 points, 12.4 rebounds and 11.1 assists per game this season.
