Falcons Academy Dubai U19 lost to Red Star 78-67 in the ABA League Premier League.
Serbian guard Marko Tofoski was the Dubai team’s standout player as he recorded a double-double with 24 points (5/8 2-pointers, 1/2 3-pointers, 11/16 shots) and 10 rebounds scored and also provided 3 assists, 5 steals and 3 turnovers in 36’08” of playing time. Ioannis Tryfonas stayed on the court for 20’13” and offered 7 points (2/2 2-points, 1/3 3-points), 2 rebounds, 2 steals. Among the dozen was the other Greek on the team, Manolis Manolopoulos.
The academy from Dubai will take part in the further course of the event Borats (November 22nd) and Derby (November 23rd).
