Olympiacos bent to the smallest detail and lost to Riga in the EuroCup Women
Olympiacos Piraeus showed great effort in Latvia, but was clearly defeated by Riga (59:55) in the group phase of the EuroCup Women.
Olympiacos showed a great performance in defense, they put Riga in an extremely difficult position, but in the final they failed to make the big throws and take the victory. The red and white team lost to the Latvian team (59-55) and missed a great chance for a great double.
Eleanna Christinaki (18 points, 5 rebounds) was Olympiakos’ top scorer, followed in terms of performance by Christina Vitola (11 points, 9 rebounds).
Olympiacos concludes the EuroCup Women group stage with a home game against Kayseri on Wednesday November 29th.
