The signing of Jamal Jones was announced by Prometheus (30 years old, 2.03 meters), with the Patrinos officially signing their agreement with the American striker.

Jamal Jones continues his career at Prometheus, with the Patras outfit announcing the acquisition of the player for the remainder of the season.

Jones is known to Greek audiences, having played in our country for PAOK (2018-19) and Ionikos Nice (2019-20).

The two sides had reached an agreement in the previous days and now the agreement took an official form with the Patrinos announcing the American striker.

The announcement in detail:

“KAE Prometheus Patras is pleased to announce the acquisition of American Jamal Jones, who will join our team for the remainder of the season.

Jamal Jones was born on February 17, 1993. He is 2.03 tall and plays primarily at the “3” position. He began his career in the 2011-12 season with the NCAA and the Ole Miss Rebels, while he played for the Texas Aggies in 2013-14. He played in the G League and the Delaware Blue Cats during the 2014-15 season. In the 2015/16 season he began his forays into European stadiums, starting with France’s B’ with Lille. The following year he traveled to Finland on behalf of Lapuan Korikobrat, while subsequently playing in Verona, Italy. He was first introduced to the Greek audience in the 2018/19 season when he played for PAOK under the guidance of Ilias Papatheodorou and left a very good impression on the “two-headed man of the north” as he scored 7.7 points and 3.3 rebounds , with a 48% shooting rate from three-point range. The following year he stayed in Greece and played for Ionian, where he performed even better, averaging 13.7 points, 5.2 rebounds and 2.1 assists. He left the club in the middle of the year and went to Bahcesehir, Turkey, where he stayed for two and a half seasons (2020-2022) and made a very good impression there too. Last year, Jamal Jones returned to the Italian league on behalf of Dinamo Sassari, where he averaged 11.5 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.8 assists.
