The Stoiximan Basket League score after AEK Betsson’s victory and the dates for the Cup Final Eight

The 10th and penultimate matchday of the first round of the Stoiximan Basket League began with three games. In the last of these times, AEK Betsson had to push themselves to the limit to secure a 91-89 win over Space Ahmed Hill’s Maroussi thanks to Mindaugas Kuzminskas’ game-saving basket. Somehow he got to 5-5 and secured a spot in the Final Eight of the Greek Cup.

This happened because Lavrio, who had previously defeated Juan Platha’s team in Ano Liosia, was defeated by Apollon Patras. Even if AEK Betsson fails to overcome the Peristeriou bwin obstacle on the next matchday and Kolossos wins over Marousi, the Union will be at the top of the draw with victory over Roditi.

Panathinaikos AKTOR, Olympiacos and Prometheus have already mathematically secured a place in the Final Eight. Let’s remember the UNICEF trophy and the last place in the Final Eight of the Greek Cup Panionios, Milonas, Doxa Lefkada and Megarida will compete.

There will be no action in the league next week as the All-Star Game will be played in Karditsa (December 16-17), so the 11th round of the championship will take place on December 23rd and 24th.
