Angelopoulos for Nestoridis: “Thousands of fans became AEK because of him”
Makis Angelopoulos expressed his condolences on the loss of Kostas Nestoridis and spoke very flattering words about the great AEK footballer.
Aside from AEK Betsson’s post about the death of Kostas Nestoridis, KAE’s administrative director Makis Angelopoulos issued a separate statement in which he spoke particularly flattering words about the Union’s great veteran footballer.
“Since the 1950s, the AEK fan movement has grown due to its footballing value and the undeniable magic it exuded on the pitches.”
All the “Unionists” of my generation grew up in our home, with the lessons of our own people about the elaborate actions of Costas Nestorides.
Thousands of sports fans became AEK because of him. We will forever be grateful to him for this interactivity in his prime, his personality, but also for his AEKofrosyne.
My condolences go out to his family.”
