Green: “I apologize to Nurkic because I didn’t mean to hit him”
Draymond Green apologized to Jusuf Nurkic, saying he didn’t mean to hit him but was trying to commit a foul.
Daymond Green accidentally hit Jusuf Nurkic, he said while discussing his suspension for the Warriors’ game against the Suns. For this reason, the great warrior apologized to the Bosnian center.
“I took several steps to ‘sell’ the foul. I had contact with him. As you know, I don’t apologize for things I wanted to do, but I apologize to Jusuf (Nurkic) because I didn’t mean to hit him. I draw the fouls with my hands. I didn’t want to go down to get the foul, I didn’t flop. I just wanted to get the foul because he pulled me and unfortunately when I turned around I hit him.
I apologize to Yusuf again because I didn’t mean to hit him. A repeat never looks good in such cases. I know my intentions and my intention (see in this case) was to draw the foul. But I don’t think I’m accurate enough to do a 360 degree turn and hit someone. So it was unfortunate,” he pointed significantly.
